I build things that matter at scale — and I explain them in ways that make people lean forward, not glaze over.
Thought leadership across enterprise data, intelligent systems, distributed architecture, real-time platforms, and AI-driven intelligence.
I work at the intersection of enterprise data, Agentic AI, intelligent systems, and large-scale architecture. My focus is on helping organizations evolve from fragmented technology landscapes into scalable, context-aware intelligence ecosystems — powered by data, streaming, knowledge systems, and AI. As CTO at Deloitte Consulting LLP, I lead one of North America's largest Databricks alliances, driving these transformations for Fortune 500 clients. From architecture to production — at a pace that surprises even the most ambitious clients.
Most technology leaders advise from a distance. I don't. I architect, I implement, and I write about what actually happens when intelligent systems meet enterprise reality — the breakthroughs, the failures, and the lessons that only come from peeling the onion all the way down. My publications have reached practitioners across data, cloud, and AI communities worldwide.
Recognized as Databricks Technology MVP (2025 & 2026) and North America's Partner Champion (2024) — across ALL SIs — I sit on leading vendor advisory boards and hold 30+ certifications across AWS, Microsoft, Snowflake, and Databricks. My LinkedIn SSI ranks in the top 1% globally.
But credentials don't build trust. Clarity does.
The leaders I respect most are the ones who can take the hardest technical problem in the room and make it impossible to ignore. That's what I try to do — for clients, for teams, and for the next generation of technologists I'm privileged to mentor.
If you're building something ambitious at the intersection of data, AI, and enterprise transformation — I'd like to hear about it.
A practitioner's account: from the geopolitical crash that broke everything, to discovering which agent surprised me most. Written for technologists who want the real story, not the slide deck version.
My story is one of a simple agricultural countryside boy who set out on a journey of self-improvement with a goal to become a doctor. But the qualification exam results proved that to save lives, engineering was the best route for me.
My father was an entrepreneur, agriculturist, and politician whose main goal was to help the needy, no matter the cost — even if it meant raiding mom's secret piggy banks. He taught us the value of giving back to our community and showed us how to lead by example. My mom is the hardest worker I know — managing the house, the farm, and keeping an eye on me and my brother who were never home and always out gallivanting with friends.
My marriage was an "arranged" marriage like any other traditional Indian, but I never expected to be so lucky and bound to such a wonderful, loving, and caring wife like Uma, who is always wiser than me when it comes to non-technology matters. She runs the home and I just bring in the money — not Mani! Our son Hari (26) has achieved the American dream. A proud Georgetown University alumnus, living in Washington DC and working as an asset management senior research associate. With a resounding "Hoya Saxa!" he celebrates his accomplishments.
Speaking of my hobby of photography — it's like a black hole of money. No matter how much I pour into it, Uma still tells me the quality of the photos looks the same as it did 20 years ago. She may have put an end to my spending, but not to my dreams. When I'm not working, I spend my time watching action movies only, or with friends — until Uma and Hari say, "Hey, remember you have a family?!"
I am endlessly grateful for the unique opportunities afforded to me during my career. There is no greater source of inspiration than to walk into the office and be greeted by the smiles of friendly and supportive family members from Deloitte and our clients.
"Modern enterprises do not suffer from a lack of technology. They suffer from fragmented intelligence."
The future belongs to organizations that can unify data, context, real-time systems, and AI into connected intelligence ecosystems. That is not a product you can buy. It is an architectural discipline you have to earn — one hard decision at a time.
Most technology leaders operate at the strategy layer. I operate at both layers simultaneously — defining the architecture and then building it. That dual perspective is where I consistently find the gaps that strategy alone misses and implementation alone cannot see.
Enterprise transformation is not about adopting the right platform. It is about developing the organizational capability to reason with data at scale — in real time, with context, and with intelligence. That is what I help organizations build.
